The Human Rights Council of Pakistan has noted an increase last year in the amount of crime and missing persons in Sindh. Major concerns related to these statistics were forced conversions of Hindu girls, a high rate of honor killings, violations of freedoms of association by the Pakistani state, a high missing persons rate and over one hundred prisoners facing the death sentence.
